Arm Yourself with Shiitake Mushroom Tea this Flu Season
So here we are on October 11, 2018; almost the end of the year already. Wow did this year fly by. Well that's for another story. A few years ago I found a recipe for a wonderful tea made out of my of the most important superfoods you want in your diet, SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS. Shiitake mushrooms have so many benefits, but here is a list of just a few:

INGREDIENTS:
- BOOST IMMUNE SYSTEM
- LOWERING BLOOD CHOLESTEROL LEVELS
- HARDENING OF THE ARTERIES
- DIABETES
- ECZEMA
- COLDS AND FLU
- PROSTATE OR BREAST CANCER
- ANTI-AGING AGENT

Here it Is:
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 SHIITAKE MUSHROOM CAPS
- 4 CUPS FILTERED WATER
- PINCH OF SEA SALT
- PINCH OF BLACK PEPPER
- 2 TEASPOONS TUMERIC POWDER
- SOAK 4 DRY OR FRESH MUSHROOMS FOR ONE HOUR IN 4 CUPS OF WATER
- SLIKE THE SHIITAKE AND BRING THE MUSHROOMSWITH THE SOAKING WATER AND A PINCH OF SEAL SALT TO BOIL. SIMMER FOR 25 MINUTES, OR UNTIL THE LIQUID HAS REDUCED TO HALF.
- STIR IN 2 TEASPOONS OF TUMERIC AND A PINCH OF BLACK PEPPER UNTIL FULLY DISSOLVED, ABOUT 1 TO 2 MINUTES. SERVE HOT.
